Pronunciation for Mi Lan Xiang:

Special characteristics:

Belongs to the best Fenghuang Dancongs from the Phoenix Mountains. This oolong is picked in spring. The infusion shows the unique aroma of a Dancong. It has a strong flavour with a sweet, oily character reminiscent of honey (Mi Lan) with floral, orchid components and is rich in caffeine. The infusion produces a bright orange-yellow colour. It is harvested from isolated old tea trees in an organic tea garden on the slopes of the Fenghuang Shan.
Mi Lan Xiang BIO
This tea is produced in one of the few organic projects in the Fenghuang Shan area. The effort required for organic cultivation in the tropically warm south of China is great, so that the plants and especially the leaves remain resistant to infestation by pests. In addition, the tea is harvested from a special variety of older, isolated tea trees, which are much more difficult to pick than in conventional plantation cultivation.

Production and packaging:

Packaging sizes

100% handmade. We get this tea directly from small producers and tea farmers in China. The tea is grown and processed in a traditional way. Such high qualities are usually produced by the tea farmers only for the local Chinese market. Therefore we are regularly on site with the producers. The direct contact to the tea farmers enables us to offer very reasonable prices with outstanding tea quality. All our teas are checked for pesticide residues by an independent laboratory. We deliver the tea in re-sealable and aroma-safe stand-up pouches made of ALU/PE.
