Special characteristics:

Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls is a unique green tea from the province of Fujian, which already stands out from other varieties by its shape. In China this tea is known as Moli Long Zhu (Moli=Jasmine Long=Dragon Zhu=Pearl). It is made from high quality green tea from spring plucking. The best jasmine of China (from Guangxi) is used for the flavouring. The flavouring is a traditional and completely natural method. The tea is piled up together with fresh jasmine flowers. In the evening, the flowers between the tea open and release their aroma on the leaves. Then the tea is separated from the flowers again. This process is repeated for several days with new flowers. The aroma is thus enriched in the tea itself. High-quality Moli Long Zhu contains no flowers and is therefore a pure green tea. Under no circumstances should this tea be confused with simple blends of flowers.
The tea is then rolled by hand into small beads and dried. The rolling process results in curvilinear drawings in the beads, which derive from the interplay of the hairy and hairless parts of the still young leaves and buds and are reminiscent of small Chinese dragons.

Production and packaging:

Packaging sizes

100% handmade. We get this tea directly from small producers and tea farmers in China. The tea is grown and processed in a traditional way. Such high qualities are usually produced by the tea farmers only for the local Chinese market. Therefore we are regularly on site with the producers. The direct contact to the tea farmers enables us to offer very reasonable prices with outstanding tea quality. All our teas are checked for pesticide residues by an independent laboratory. We deliver the tea in re-sealable and aroma-safe stand-up pouches made of ALU/PE.
