A Keemun of extraordinarily high quality from organic cultivation. The finest, approx. 2-3 cm long buds are harvested here. The tea has a firm structure with a wonderful fragrance. Very balanced aroma, reminiscent of roses, liquorice with slightly spicy components.

Special characteristics:
Qimen Hong Cha is one of the most famous red teas in China and is produced in the surrounding mountains of the city of Qimen. This tea comes from an organic cultivation project and only buds from the first plucking at the end of April are used. The tea has an extremely fine and even structure and has a wonderful fragrance. When harvesting, the first buds are taken in spring. Only experienced pickers are used at this stage. When brewed, it has a long-lasting, not too intense, but very even aroma.

100% handmade. We get this tea directly from small producers and tea farmers in China. The tea is grown and processed in a traditional way. Such high qualities are usually produced by the tea farmers only for the local Chinese market. Therefore we are regularly on site with the producers. The direct contact to the tea farmers enables us to offer very reasonable prices with outstanding tea quality. All our teas are checked for pesticide residues by an independent laboratory. We deliver the tea in re-sealable and aroma-safe stand-up pouches made of ALU/PE.
