Special characteristics:
The tea offers a long lasting aroma, especially in the finish, which is typical for teas from very old tea trees. It does not originate from a tea plantation, but is harvested from scattered tea trees that are several hundred years old. The tea is grown there naturally and without the use of pesticides in the high altitudes at over 1500 meters. The tea develops beautifully with increasing infusion time and is very aromatic. If you only prepare one infusion, you should wait up to three minutes or even longer before infusing. You can also read our article here.

100% handmade. We get this tea directly from small producers and tea farmers in China. The tea is grown and processed in a traditional way. Such high qualities are usually produced by the tea farmers only for the local Chinese market. Therefore we are regularly on site with the producers. The direct contact to the tea farmers enables us to offer very reasonable prices with outstanding tea quality. All our teas are checked for pesticide residues by an independent laboratory. We deliver the tea in re-sealable and aroma-safe stand-up pouches made of ALU/PE.
